Misson San Miguel de Allande - Mission of Mercy

The Texas Podiatric Medical Foundation supports the future of the profession by supporting Texas residency programs, in addition to coordinating mission projects.

We need volunteers for the next mission trip to San Miguel de Allende. The next trip is February 9-14 2008. You need to fly into Leon, Mexico and we can arrange shuttle to San Miguel (1.5 hours away).

We can recommend a reasonable hotel for lodging or if you plan to bring family you may find your own lodging or rental home. You will need to take a taxi from the hotel to the Casa Clinic, as it is not near any lodging. Taxis are very affordable and allow you to travel anywhere in San Miguel.
The city is cobblestoned, and is also a great walking city situated around the main cathedral and square. Make sure to bring your walking shoes!

We need an anesthesiologist volunteer to go in February! Trips are tax deductible as business expense or charitable. There will be future trips in July and November 2008.

We also need your help financially. We are now offering notecards and appointment cards in exchange for a small donation to the TPMF. Please help us continue our efforts with your support. Notecards, framed prints, and appointment cards will be available for order from the TPMA office.
