Each individual can donate time, money, and/or services to show support of the Texas Podiatric Medical Foundation.
Over 70,000 lower limb amputations occur annually in the USA due to diabetic complications. 30% of adults suffer foot related back pain and 70% of the elderly suffer from lower limb infections.
Stop the pain by helping to train physicians and inform the public by:
- Advancing postgraduate curriculum to ensure top trained podiatric physicians in the state of Texas.
- Expansion and supporting of students and post-graduate programs in medical education to allow for continued growth in the medical arena.
- Provide financial support of qualified medical education programs to enable better quality of training and quality of life for the postgraduates.
- Introducing customized medical programs for intense individualized training to keep new and existing physicians informed on technique and disease development.
- Providing medical education awareness to the general public to prevent disease, amputation and illness.
- Offer medical services to indigent communities to increase awareness of proper care.
